UGC NET certificate 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET 2025 June session results and final answer key on July 21, a day ahead of schedule. With this, the process now moves toward the release of official certificates and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) award letters for qualified candidates.
The certificates, which validate eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professor and JRF in Indian colleges and universities, will be made available online. Candidates will be able to download their e-certificates from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, using their login credentials.
UGC NET result 2025 and exam overview
The UGC NET June 2025 examination was conducted from June 25 to June 29 across over 250 cities nationwide. The test was held in two shifts daily and covered 83 subjects, including languages, humanities, and science disciplines. The examination comprises two papers conducted in a single session — Paper 1 carrying 100 marks and Paper 2 carrying 200 marks — with no negative marking.
The provisional answer key was released on July 5, followed by an objection window that remained open until July 8. The final answer key, revised after considering objections, has now been published alongside the result.
UGC NET cut off and qualification status
The NTA has also released subject-wise and category-wise cut-off marks. These cut-offs determine whether a candidate qualifies for the Assistant Professor role or both Assistant Professor and JRF. Candidates are advised to review the cut-off list to confirm their qualification status.
